ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Hospital Director at a Barchester independent mental health hospital, you'll have the chance to really make a difference to the lives of the people you support, their families and your team members who are looking to develop their careers. You'll use your leadership skills to deliver complex care for patients with long-term chronic or degenerative conditions. For some patients, this means providing a long-term, stable environment and therapeutic care so they can return to a family home or community within two years. For patients with more severe conditions, your role is about making their day-to-day lives as calm, secure and enjoyable as possible.

In this Hospital Director role, you'll balance budgets and develop strategies to implement person-centred care, as well as always find time for the patients in your care. We'll give you excellent support on every level, including robust operations support, assistance with marketing and PR, recruitment, staffing and training, and other first-class resources.

ABOUT YOU
Along with a wealth of management experience, you'll need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join us as a Hospital Director. This senior role calls for compassion, resilience and exceptional management skills. You should be a natural leader who can confidently communicate with people at all levels and have a forward-thinking business approach. These skills will be complemented by your determination to motivate your team to deliver quality care and support that meets the needs of all our patients.

REWARDS PACKAGE
As well as a competitive salary, Barchester offers one of the best rewards packages in the care sector. Your generous benefits would include:

Free learning and development
Automatic enrolment into our profit share scheme
A range of holiday, retail and leisure discounts
8% ER Pension Package
Automatic entry into Excellence Awards and annual bonus scheme
Payment of NMC Annual Registration Fee

If you'd like to use your clinical and people skills in an organisation that provides the quality care you'd expect for your loved ones, this is a rewarding and empowering place to be.
