The role
As a Transport Compliance, Systems and Process Trainer, you will ensure our operations remain safe and efficient across our network. You’ll take on the responsibility of delivering hands-on training that helps the team master the systems required to keep NEXT moving. By building colleague competency and upholding high legal standards, you will directly impact our ability to evolve and deliver for our customers.
What you’ll take on
You’ll be responsible for delivering training to our Transport teams across a variety areas
- Operational training including driver dispatch, debriefing, and tachograph data management
- Lead practical yard-based vehicle check training to ensure our fleet meets all regulatory and safety standards.
- Support the onboarding journey by delivering engaging site tours, yard training, and general inductions for everyone joining the team.
- Systems training including Tacho, Continuum, TMS, and Paragon.
- Collaborate with the Transport Quality and Compliance Managers to review, create, and implement new ways of working across the network.
- Ensure all office colleagues are up to date with essential training, including manual handling and risk assessments and organise transport training courses
What you’ll bring
With 3 to 5 years of Transport Operations, you will be familiar with Transport Compliance (CPC) and with transport related systems such as Tachomaster, Microlise and Licence checks. You will also be a confident communicator who has experience designing and delivering training.
