Technical Ecommerce Manager

We have partnered with a global fashion retailer who is looking for a technical ecommerce manager to take ownership of their ecommerce platform. You’ll be responsible for keeping the platform stable, efficient and reliable day to day, looking at it from an operational point of view so that customers get a smooth experience every time. When something goes wrong, you’ll lead incident management and make sure root causes are understood and dealt with so they don’t come back.

You’ll also play a central part in improving and growing their online channel. That means leading and supporting project work from scoping through to delivery, and working closely with their development team to turn business needs into clear technical requirements. You’ll be the link between the commercial, operational and technical sides of the business, helping set priorities, manage releases and keep improvements moving at pace without risking platform stability.

They're looking for someone who has already worked in a similar technical ecommerce, platform or digital operations role and knows what it takes to run a busy retail website. SQL experience is essential, because you’ll use it to investigate issues, query data and support decisions with solid evidence. You’ll be a confident communicator and a calm problem-solver, and you’ll be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

In return, they will offer a salary of up to £75,000 plus a bonus and benefits package. You will have the chance to make a real impact on a key part of their business. The company are based in Central London and has hybrid working in place.
