About the role As a Service Support Engineer, you will provide technical support for reactive and preventative maintenance activities across our estate. You'll work closely with field teams, planners, contractors, and engineering colleagues to resolve maintenance issues, improve asset reliability, and deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient environment for our customers and colleagues.This is a national remote role that requires a driving license and UK travel.   • Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary.
  • Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays).

  • Providing remote technical support to diagnose maintenance issues and drive permanent, timely resolutions.
  • Using data, systems, and insights to identify trends and opportunities to improve maintenance performance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to optimise resource planning and dispatch activities, building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Supporting the development of incident management and investigation processes and Ways of Working.
  • Undertaking site visits as required to provide technical support and assurance.
  • Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, compliantly, and within agreed service levels.
  • Putting customer, colleague, and community welfare at the heart of every decision and managing workload effectively to deliver the best outcomes.
You will need

Operational Skills

  • Performance management and continuous improvement
  • Communication and stakeholder management
  • Data analysis and problem solving
  • Systems and IT proficiency
  • Maintenance planning and processes
  • Governance, compliance, and organisational skills

Experience

  • Maintenance and/or engineering experience
  • Customer service experience within a fast-paced 24/7 operation
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a related engineering role
  • Time-served engineering background, ideally within HVAC or a relevant discipline
