Security Manager

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Security Manager to lead the delivery of security operations at a high-profile client site in Immingham.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. Working closely with both operational teams and senior stakeholders, you'll drive a proactive security culture and ensure all security activities are delivered safely, compliantly, and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the on-site security team, setting high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Take ownership of all security operations, ensuring the protection of people, property, and assets.
- Develop, review, and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and site inspections, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and oversee security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Investigate incidents, produce detailed reports, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and external agencies.
- Deliver security expertise and operational insight to support business objectives and service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards, and company policies.
- Promote a culture of vigilance, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.
About You
- Proven experience in a Security Manager, Security Operations Manager, or similar leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of security operations, incident management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to build credibility and trust.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions in challenging situations.
- Experience conducting investigations, risk assessments, and managing security-related incidents.
- Holds a valid SIA licence.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
