HOW IS WORKING IN THE PROPERTY TEAM SPECIAL?
We are driven by a single focus – to serve our shoppers a little better. We work with our Retail colleagues as well as with other stakeholders to achieve customer satisfaction. From potential building sites to maintaining shops – it’s our responsibility to look at every aspect to ensure store functionality.
WHAT YOU WILL DO?
- Managing new construction projects in cooperation with the Acquisitions Department
- Preparing cost estimates for projects
- Managing the tender process for the selection of a general contractor
- Assessing project risks
- Cooperating with external partners, attending meetings, and reviewing project documentation
- Preparing materials for project approvals and providing regular reporting
- Evaluating return on investment (ROI)
- Monitoring project budgets and expenditure
- Cooperating with internal departments across the organization
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities for new projects
- Coordinating external contractors, quantity surveyors and overseeing project execution
WHAT YOU WILL NEED?
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction/Cost Management, or a related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in project preparation and management
- Very good command of English
- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Flexibility, willingness to travel, and a Category B driving licence
- Ability to work under pressure, resilience, and a proactive approach
