We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to be part of our exciting Observability and Incident Management Team, which impacts every part of our core technology and the highly experienced technology and product teams who use them. You will play a pivotal role in our journey to influence both the technical and cultural strategy across our channels. Supporting teams to gain the insight they need to make data driven decisions that directly impact our brand, our bottom line and overall colleagues and customer experience.
You will be responsible for shaping the culture and driving the roadmap for how colleagues will interact with observability data in future, utilising AI to reduce the toil and cost of maintaining system reliability, and contributing to reducing the impact of technology incidents. As a Product Manager you will also ensure AI is utilised to improve observability outcomes and for shaping the agentic approach that underpins it — driving faster detection, diagnosis and resolution of technology incidents.

Engage with stakeholders and Lead Product Manager to formulate the AI assisted strategy and long-term roadmap and execute it well by constantly managing the stakeholders expectations, working through dependencies across multiple products/ teams
Understand key user personas, customers & stakeholders for my product and their pain points
Effectively document and explain new requirements to the engineering team using user stories, personas, and acceptance tests and help the team in breaking down a complex piece of work/ epic into smaller, deliverable chunks of value that can be delivered faster
Steer sprint/ release planning sessions by working with my delivery counterparts to plan sprints/ releases that deliver maximum business value in least effort
Lead discovery work around minimum viable product (MVP) for any new product/feature, collaborating with delivery teams to prototype and validate the MVP
Drive experiments against defined hypotheses, create MVPs towards robust data-driven decisions on product improvements and their influence on product performance indicators
Interpersonal and leadership skills:

Ability to work with diverse teams including engineering, operations, product and leadership
Skilled at mediating between conflicting priorities and driving consensus

Technical Skills:
Understanding observability concepts:
strong grasp of the observability pillars - logs, metrics, traces
familiarity with distributed systems, microservices and their challenges
Experience with Observability tools:
Hands on knowledge of tools like New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, VM and Open Telemetry
Exposure to trends in observability frameworks and standards.
Engineering experience:
Ability to collaborate with engineering, understanding their points and translate into product needs.
Familiarity with software development lifecycles, CICD and DevOps. Exposure to APIs, Backend Apps.
Data Analysis:
Ability to interpret patterns, anomalies and opportunities from complex sets of data.
Understanding of AI concepts
Knowledge of LLMs, agentic AI
Experience scaling AI-driven products
Preferred Background:
Min 2 years of Product management experience.
Technical education: degrees in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
Having proven success in working on unstructured problems, defining hypothesis, creating MVPs, running experiments and analysing results to drive data-driven decisions.
Understanding how observability impacts business like availability/reliability, customer
Satisfaction and business impact.
Prior experience in observability
proven track record in building and managing observability systems.
Prioritisation and decision-making skills demonstrating how these have taken into account business priorities, complexity, dependencies and value.
