About the role
As Product Manager for Transport 3rd Party Logistics (3PL), you will own and deliver the roadmap of initiatives to leverage third party logistics partners to deliver for Tesco. You will play a pivotal role in the growth of propositions like Whoosh and Marketplace, where we work collaboratively with partners to serve our customers a little better every day. The 3PL team are responsible for orchestrating orders across Whoosh and are instrumental in driving growth across propositions such as Tesco Marketplace, F&F and other future retail delivery experiences. You will work with engineering, product, programme, and business stakeholders to define and deliver a prioritised roadmap that optimises operational and customer needs, to build a product that is secure, reliable and scalable.

Salary - Your fixed pay is the guaranteed pay as per your contract of employment.

Owning the roadmap and vision for 3PL
Engaging with stakeholders across Customer Fulfilment and Online
Delivering consistently by managing dependencies and setting clear expectations.
Defining and tracking product outcomes. Responding to outcomes and celebrating successes.
Presenting the vision, strategy, roadmap, outcomes, and delivery plans clearly.
Collaborating and workshopping to ensure shared understanding of users and their pain points.
Managing the backlog, running agile ceremonies, and communicating value delivered.
Writing clear user stories and supporting efficient delivery.
Handling live product issues independently and communicating resolutions.
Balancing functionality, non-functional requirements, technical debt, and excellence.
Championing 3PL with passion and clarity.
Working with peripheral teams on multi-year strategy.
Coordinating with third parties and external partners to integrate solutions.
Supporting the wider product community by sharing best practices and coaching team members.
Leading continuous product discovery to test and validate hypotheses.

Strong grasp of Product Management and agile best practices.
Experience working on API products.
Experience working with 3rd parties on complex integration projects.
Experience working with partners and stakeholders to scope and deliver proposition enhancements.
Experienced in backlog prioritisation and managing complex dependencies.
Confident in using data and insights to guide decisions.
Methodical and analytical in approach to product delivery.
Skilled in continuous discovery. Able to run experiments and present findings.
