As a Price and Promo Optimalization Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and delivering our pricing and promotional strategy, ensuring we remain competitive while creating meaningful savings for customers.

What you'll be doing?
- Lead and continuously evolve Tesco's pricing and promotional strategy, ensuring it meets customer expectations while supporting business growth.
- Drive decisions that enhance Tesco's value competitiveness and strengthen customer trust.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Insight, and Marketing teams to turn customer and market insights into winning pricing and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and risks.
- Translate complex data into clear recommendations that influence senior business decisions.
- Develop compelling business cases and investment proposals that balance growth, competitiveness, and profitability.
- Ensure pricing principles and policies are embedded across the organisation and support governance and compliance standards.
- Help shape and improve customer value perception through innovative pricing and promotional solutions.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on Value NPS improvement and long-term customer loyalty.
- Continuously challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and decision-making.
What we're looking for?
- Experience in Pricing, Revenue Management, Commercial Strategy, Category Management, Customer Insight, Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect customer needs with business objectives.
- Excellent analytical skills and confidence working with data to drive decisions.
- Ability to transform insights into clear actions and tangible business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and storytelling capabilities.
- Customer-first mindset combined with strategic thinking.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional environment.
- Fluent English (B2 or above).
