Job Advert: Planning & Communication Coordinator

Are you a confident communicator with a strong understanding of store operations and a passion for making things clear, simple and effective? We’re looking for a Planning & Communication Coordinator to join our Retail Operations team in Deeside and play a key role in helping our stores land promotional changeover activity successfully.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of communication between Deeside and Retail, making sure stores receive timely, accurate and consistent information. You’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Directors, Heads of Department, Area Managers, Heads of Stores and retail colleagues, helping to turn key updates into clear actions that support successful delivery in stores.
What you’ll be doing
·Coordinating weekly store communications and ensuring messages are accurate, consistent and delivered on time.
·Creating key changeover documentation, including implementation guides, changeover planners and new actions.
·Liaising with departments and colleagues across Deeside to gather, shape and approve content.
·Acting as a key point of contact for stores, Area Managers and Heads of Stores, helping to resolve queries quickly and professionally.
·Monitoring and maintaining the department inbox, directing queries to the right teams and supporting prompt solutions.
·Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Retail and Deeside to support smooth communication and delivery.
About you
You’ll bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and the ability to work at pace while keeping the customer and store experience front of mind. You’ll be comfortable communicating with colleagues at all levels, confident in challenging where needed, and motivated by making processes simpler and better.
We’re looking for someone with at least 12 months’ experience as a Supervisor, Senior Supervisor or Assistant Manager who is ready to use their store knowledge to help shape the future of store communications.
You’ll be successful if you
·Can produce detailed, factually correct work confidently and often at short notice.
·Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues from frontline teams through to Regional Manager level.
·Respond positively and quickly to changing priorities.
·Take ownership, follow through on commitments and deliver to a high standard.
·Use Microsoft Office confidently, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Publisher.
