What you’ll be doing
Our pharmacists make a real difference in the communities we look after, delivering trusted care, advice and services that put patients first. In this role, you’ll use your clinical expertise every day, surrounded by a brilliant team and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Delivering NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using both in-store and digital tools
• Leading professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance
• Monitoring, evaluating, and continually improving standards of care and safety
• Working with the Store Manager to develop the capability of the wider healthcare team
• Growing talent that reflects the communities we serve; coaching, mentoring and supporting your colleagues every step of the way.
• Representing Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience leading patient and customer care within a pharmacy setting
• Passion for delivering essential, advanced, and private services
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and an eagerness to coach and guide others

It would be great if you also have

• Experience in enhanced services
• A strong understanding of local clinical networks

Need To Know

In the heart of central Cambridge is Boots Petty Cury, with a heavy student base, huge tourist population and big Pharmacy and Retail business.

In our pharmacy we have a team of Dispensers, Healthcare Customer Advisors, Health & Wellness Specialists, alongside 3 other Pharmacists per day.
7 days a week, we offer a full range private services, these include Private COVID, RSV, Travel Service, Shingles, HPV, Chicken Pox, Men B, Mole Scanning and more. Plus the key NHS services, Hypertension Case Finding, Pharmacy First, Contraceptive Service, and more.

We care for approximately 50 care homes, ranging from small, medium and large bed capacity, with a team of 2 ACPT's, 1 Care Services Customer Partner and a team of dispensers to run the business.
