What you’ll be doing

Our pharmacists make a real difference in the communities we look after, delivering trusted care, advice and services that put patients first.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Pharmacist to join us in one of our Boots Healthcare Centres, working 16 hours per week.

As a Services Pharmacist, you'll have the opportunity to focus on delivering high-quality clinical services, using your professional expertise to support patients with their healthcare needs.

You'll be part of a brilliant team, helping us make healthcare more accessible and shaping the future of pharmacy-led services.

Key responsibilities

• Delivering NHS, locally commissioned and private healthcare services using both in-store and digital tools
• Providing expert clinical advice, consultations and treatment to patients
• Maintaining professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance
• Monitoring, evaluating and continually improving standards of care and safety
• Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to deliver an exceptional patient experience
• Building trusted relationships with patients and supporting their ongoing health and wellbeing
• Representing Boots within the local community and building relationships with other healthcare professionals

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence in delivering patient consultations and clinical advice
• A passion for delivering essential, advanced and private healthcare services
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care

It would be great if you also have

• Experience delivering enhanced clinical pharmacy services
• Independent Prescribing qualification or an interest in developing towards this
• A strong understanding of local clinical networks
