Operational Development Trainer

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: Thursday - Saturday, 11:00 - 23:00

Week 2: Wednesday - Saturday, 11:00 - 23:00

The role

Step into a pivotal position where you will equip our team with the skills they need to excel and drive key operational changes across the site. In this dynamic training environment, you will make a lasting impact by ensuring every new starter receives a warm, thorough welcome and the ongoing support needed to thrive. Working closely with site teams, leaders, and our dedicated coaching network, you will shape a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence. To set you up for success, NEXT provides a comprehensive six-month training programme packed with group workshops, tailored one-to-one support, and expert guidance every step of the way.

What you'll take on

• Lead engaging corporate inductions and guided warehouse tours to give new colleagues a clear, confident start.
• Deliver practical, hands-on training for a wide range of operational tasks and day-to-day warehouse procedures.
• Design and refine clear, effective training materials that support new project rollouts and updated processes.
• Coach team members using operational performance data and direct observations to deliver constructive, actionable feedback.
• Gather and analyse training data to evaluate learning impact and continuously sharpen the delivery of your sessions.

• Confident communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to groups and explain complex tasks simply.
• Strong organisation and planning skills to manage training resources, track progress, and evaluate outcomes.

• An adaptable, collaborative approach to teamwork, making it easy to support change and build great working relationships across the site.
