As a Manager in our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our treasury operations run smoothly, contributing to our mission of delivering care, confidence, and connection in communities across the UK and Ireland.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will report and lead a dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the preparation and maintenance of short-, medium- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Manage daily treasury activities, including cash positioning, FX exposure monitoring and treasury dealing.
- Partner with FP&A teams to analyse forecast variances and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Produce working capital reporting and identify opportunities to improve cash generation
- Overseeing treasury operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Developing and implementing strategies to optimise cash flow and liquidity management
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes.
- Providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Support the annual budgeting process and contribute Treasury insights to longer-term business planning
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
Proven experience in treasury management or finance operations.
- Strong experience preparing and managing cash flow forecasts and liquidity reporting.
- Experience analysing working capital performance and identifying opportunities to improve cash generation
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in finance or accounting.
- Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate key messages clearly to different audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
It would be great if you also have
- A recognised accounting or treasury qualification such as ACT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.
- Experience supporting annual budgeting and long-range business planning processes.
- Knowledge of foreign exchange (FX) risk management and treasury dealing activities.
- Experience developing and enhancing cash forecasting methodologies and reporting processes.
- Experience leading process improvement, automation or simplification initiatives.
Familiarity with treasury management systems and financial software.
A passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
