Overview:


We’re embarking on an upcoming HR Transformation journey, modernising our technology to create a simpler, more seamless experience across Boots. Through our People Transformation programme we'll improve our ways of working to make it easier to support colleagues through key moments in their careers while enabling better access to information and more effective support across the business.

This is a key role in ensuring successful delivery of the People Transformation programme. Forming part of the Business Architecture network across the programme, this role acts as a key support to the Business Architects ensuring that the processes for the workstream are clearly documented and SOP’s are produced enabling the People Function to deliver effectively and efficiently. They will be involved in the design activities of future state processes, helping to ensure that they are aligned to business objectives and deliver against the functional requirements.

This role will work with internal and external stakeholders across the People Transformation programme, including inputting into change impacts and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Core HR & Helpdesk Workstream Lead, Business Architects across the workstreams and SME’s, help to ensure the business processes for the workstreams and module meet business requirements
  • Work with the Lead Business Architect and Core HR & Helpdesk Business Architect to help ensure the E2E processes meet the requirements of the ToM and provide any potential impacts to the People Function Taxonomy
  • Involvement in design workshops to ensure the business needs are identified and met and change impacts are understood and documents, identifying opportunities to remove process steps and implement process efficiencies ensuring standardization and consistency
  • Document future state processes and review and input into design configuration workbooks so that SOP’s can be created
  • Provide relevant current state data and business process documentation where required
  • Engage with Process Owners throughout the programme as needed to maintain awareness of potential impacts of the programme to the business and business change to the programme through
  • Working with Change Managers input into Change Management Impact Assessment and learning needs assessments
  • Write and review test scenarios and test scripts for UAT
  • Work with Data Migration and Reporting & Insights workstream to ensure all requirements are captured
  • Support business wide programme engagement and training as required


What you'll need to have:

  • Knowledge of People Function Processes
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to apply a user experience lens, keeping in mind user journey through process design
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – able to across multiple stakeholder groups within the programme and function
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to positively challenge with a view for process improvement
  • Great organisational skills
  • Ability to operate to tight deadlines
  • Experience of BPMN or previous process mapping is desirable but not essential
