We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Promotions Coordinator to join our team in Watford.

This role is ideal for an experienced Coordinator, Team Leader or Supervisor looking to combine people support with hands on operational responsibility.

As the most senior member of the Promotions Coordinator team, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation, helping to prioritise workloads, resolve issues, share knowledge and ensure promotional activity is delivered accurately and on time.

Working closely with Category, Trading, Finance, Operations and other teams across the business, you'll help ensure promotional and pricing activity runs smoothly from initial set-up through to delivery. Alongside supporting and developing colleagues, you'll remain actively involved in the detail, helping to maintain accuracy, meet deadlines and continuously improve the way we work.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, building strong relationships and leading by example. You'll be comfortable getting into the detail when required while helping the wider team stay organised, focused and delivering high-quality results.

  • Supporting, coaching and developing the Promotions Coordinators, providing day-to-day guidance and direction.
  • Helping to prioritise workloads and ensure activity is delivered accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Building promotional deal sets alongside Category teams and ensuring these are accurately loaded into SAP.
  • Maintaining promotional master files and pricing data in line with agreed deadlines.
  • Proofreading marketing materials, coordinating amendments and resolving issues with relevant teams.
  • Working closely with Category Managers to deliver ad hoc promotional requirements and requests.
  • Supporting the planning and communication of pricing changes resulting from Chancellor's Budgets.
  • Providing input and support for Seasonal Pre-Sell campaigns, including range and price files.
  • Investigating and processing overcharge queries where required.
  • Supporting supplier invoice queries, including advertising and gate fees.
  • Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring or leading colleagues within an operational, administrative or commercial environment.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships and bring people together to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and support others to do the same.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Experience working with data, systems and administrative processes.
  • Strong verbal, written and numerical skills.
  • Confidence communicating and building relationships with stakeholders across different areas and levels of the business.
  • A collaborative and supportive approach, with a willingness to share knowledge and help others succeed.
  • A proactive and solutions focused mindset, with the determination to see tasks through to completion.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to balance team support responsibilities with hands-on operational work in a fast paced environment.
  • Previous retail or wholesale experience would be beneficial.
  • Experience using SAP would be advantageous.
