
Lead - Procurement Market Intelligence &Risk
About the role I am a subject matter expert for Procurement insights including Market Intelligence, and supply chain risk and Analytics. I would lead the development of AI-enabled intelligence capabilities by integrating external market, supplier, risk, and geopolitical insights with internal procurement and spend data to generate predictive insights, strengthen supply continuity, influence enterprise decision-making, and support long-term business growth and resilience.
- Develop scalable Cat intel model leveraging AI to provide self-serve option for buyers working in conjunction with Enterprise Analytics team.- Build Market intelligence reports including Supplier landscape, Price benchmarking, Cost model structure, should cost model, TCO, Engagement models, Sourcing model, Supplier risk, Competitive benchmarking, Savings opportunities, Negotiation levers.- Build Should cost modeling/bottom-up cost models to validate supplier price hike requests using internal market index databases and deliver savings.- Collaborate closely with buyers across assigned product categories, gathering and analyzing relevant data to develop strategic recommendations for category and commodity leaders, and contribute to supplier negotiation processes.- Build and manage supplier and expert network database to gather evolving market/price data.- Monitor supplier and supply chain risk status for supply base through third party tools and develop BCP in conjunction with Procurement Managers.- Build statistical models to drive predictive risk analytics leveraging AI.-Implementing CI projects to drive productivity. - Procurement process knowledge is a must
- MBA plus at least 5 yrs experience in Procurement Market
- Eye-to-Detail, Advanced Analytical ability
- research, analytics, Supply chain risk management and
- Speed and Accuracy, Problem solving

- Commercial acumen and Financial fundamentals
- Fluent verbal & written communication
- Stakeholder management
- Knowledge of various databases such as Bloomberg and D&B,
- Advance excel and Power point/dashboards, financial analysis,
- creating business cases.
- Foundation level Data analytics, Statistical modelling and AI skill to collaborate with Enterprise Analytics to develop an automated
- Category strategy framework/model.
