About the role
You will need
- Lead a team of programmers and analysts to improve the shopping trip for customers.
- I analyse problem statements, develop solutions and have the accountability for code to enable the business to understand workload in channels.
- I maintain the regular running of productivity models and schedules. I work collaboratively with my colleagues across Tesco to deliver the productivity change programme.
- I actively manage relationships with product and finance to ensure we simplify for store.

- Partner with project managers to understand changes to models.
- Provide Data to build new Productivity Models
- Managing resource allocation and prioritisation to ensure that business benefit is maximised
- Driving sustainable solutions that ensure we maintain improve the health of our models
- Working collaboratively to develop full solutions and operating models, and trialling these as necessary
- Responding in a timely manner to changing priorities; adapting and adjusting plans as required
- Driving automation to ensure that the team reduce the amount of BAU activity they support
- Collaborating with stakeholders and Product Owners to bring their requirements through the life cycle to implementation phase.
- Partnering with finance to ensure that budgeting and flexing process are refined
- Managing and influencing stakeholders cross-functionally, at all levels, at the right time
- Building testing capability and coach the team to improve their technical ability
- Being an expert within my area, having awareness of the wider market, and sharing knowledge with the wider team
- Contributing to make my team a great place to work (e.g. supporting activities like team days or team meetings)
