We’re looking for a Junior Insights Manager (E15 Insights) to join our team at The O2. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or someone at the beginning of their analytics career to gain hands-on experience using data to support operational and commercial decision-making across a world-class venue.
The role is offered on a part-time basis (around 24 hours per week), with strong potential to develop into a full-time position as the function continues to grow.
About the Role
Reporting to the Venue Lead and Senior Insights Manager, you’ll use E15 Insights, our data analytics and insights platform, to turn operational and sales data into meaningful insights.
E15 Insights enables us to understand how our venue operates, from identifying which bars are busiest at different times during an event to analysing sales trends, customer behaviour and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse sales and operational performance data using the E15 Insights platform.
• Day-to-day maintenance of data infrastructure and databases.
• Update sponsorship data and maintain project trackers.
• Assist the Venue Director, General Manager and Director of Strategy with reporting and data analysis.
• Conduct post-event analysis to understand performance and identify opportunities.
• Produce regular reports, dashboards and presentations for venue stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Finance team on KPIs and year-on-year performance trends.
• Identify trends, patterns and opportunities to improve commercial performance.
• Support operational planning through data-driven insights.
• Help develop new reports and analytical tools to support business objectives.
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data, has excellent attention to detail and is keen to develop their career in business intelligence and analytics.
You may be:
• A recent graduate looking to begin your career in data and insights.
• Someone with experience in data analysis looking for your next opportunity.
• An existing member of The O2 team with an understanding of venue operations and a passion for analytics.
Previous experience working at The O2 would be highly beneficial, as an understanding of the venue’s operational characteristics will help you interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
Desirable
• A degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics or a related subject.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
• Experience interpreting data to support operational or commercial decision-making.
Working Hours
• Minimum 24 hours per week across three days.
• Flexible daytime working between 8:00am and 7:00pm.
• There may occasionally be a requirement to work during live events, typically 5:00pm–9:00pm. These shifts will be planned well in advance.
