We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Inbound Team Member to join our Warehouse Operations team at Bathgate Distribution Centre.

Working within the Inbound operation, you will play a key role in ensuring stock is handled safely, accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for supporting the receipt, movement and storage of stock throughout the warehouse, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and ensuring products are in the correct place to support the wider operation.

As part of the role, you will work across a range of warehouse temperature-controlled environments, including Ambient, Chilled and Frozen areas, ensuring products are handled and stored in line with operational and safety requirements. Full training and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

This role operates on a shift basis, working 5 days over 7, including weekend working. Shifts are available within the hours of:

• 05:00 - 14:00
• 11:00 - 20:00

Flexibility is required to support operational requirements across both shift patterns.

As part of our wider warehouse operation, colleagues employed within this role will be engaged under the Warehouse Operations Assistant contract and may be required to undertake other warehouse duties in line with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely receive, handle and move stock throughout the warehouse.
  • Support replenishment and stock movement activities across the operation.
  • Ensure stock is stored safely and accurately within designated warehouse locations.
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and preparing stock for put-away.
  • Maintain high levels of stock presentation and accuracy.
  • Identify and report damaged stock, shortages or quality concerns.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively with Leaders and colleagues.
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) following training and approval.

  • Is willing to undertake training on warehouse equipment and processes
  • Can perform manual handling activities throughout their shift.
  • Is flexible and willing to support operational requirements across the warehouse.
Desirable Experience
  • Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Previous experience operating warehouse equipment such as LLOPs, PPTs or Bulk Trucks.
  • Experience working within Ambient, Chilled or Frozen environments.
