About the role We are on the lookout for a Human Rights Specialist to cover our Data Analysis and Reporting area within our Product Quality team. You will provide regular and accurate data management, analysis and reporting relevant to the performance of Tesco's human rights due diligence programme on its supply chains, supporting relevant teams across Tesco, and managing relevant relationships with key external stakeholders.   • Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary

  • Maintaining regular periodic data reporting on supply chain ethical audit non-conformances and key performance indicators for our human rights due diligence programme (Including leading reporting for United Kingdom Food and Group Procurement, whilst supporting across Central Europe and Republic of Ireland Food).
  • Supporting Technical Managers to close critical non-conformances to agreed timescales and responding to Food/Goods Not for Resale queries in relation to SEDEX ethical audits (including supporting on webinars).
  • Training Technical Managers to use the SEDEX ethical audit platform, including accepting site relationships and general navigation.
  • Escalating overdue ethical audit non-conformances and agreeing recommendation for continued supply (including in processing formal derogations/exemptions).
  • Participating in key SEDEX training/working groups on tools and evolution of the platform.
  • Managing relationships for Tesco Group with data reporting stakeholders including SEDEX and Stronger Together.
  • Supporting subsidiaries in embedding and improving ethical data reporting practices.
  • Supporting the strategic development of ethical data reporting processes, using platforms such as Foods Connected and Inspectorio, for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinating ethical data reporting, including for internal governance, external benchmarking/ratings and other annual sustainability reporting.
  • Supporting Human Rights Managers with other key strategic priorities. For example, providing insights from ethical audit data and reports.
  • Supporting with the tracking of any other ethical findings identified beyond the scope of our audit programme and supporting on trend analysis and insights.
You will need
  • Experience in a relevant industry, with a strong focus on sustainability.
  • Hands‑on experience using SEDEX and other data‑sharing platforms (e.g. Foods Connected).
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and collaborate effectively with NGOs and external stakeholders.
  • Strong data analytics skills, with the ability to present information clearly and accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and cultural awareness.
  • Knowledge of auditing programme techniques, supported by good organisational and basic project management skills.
