As a Head of Data Science, you will help shape and expand a highly skilled team of Data Scientists focused on developing the algorithmic features of Technology Products which support and automate decision making.

Shape the data science strategy for operational optimisation, helping teams focus on the most impactful business problems.
Work closely with partners across the business, turning real operational challenges into practical, scalable data science solutions.
Guide the delivery of high‑quality, production‑ready data products, ensuring teams have the support they need to succeed.
Communicate insights clearly and inclusively, helping colleagues of all backgrounds understand and adopt data‑driven approaches.
Champion innovation, including exploring how GenAI and AI Agents can improve workflows, unlock automation and create new opportunities for optimisation.
Skills relevant for the job
Strong knowledge in at least one key data science area (e.g., optimisation, simulation, machine learning, forecasting, NLP, or statistics), with interest in learning across others.
Practical experience using a modern programming language (such as Python, Java, Scala or Go) and the ability to apply it to real business problems.
Ability to design and contribute to data science solutions that work reliably in production environments.
Confidence communicating complex ideas in a clear, inclusive way to colleagues with different levels of technical expertise.
Interest in exploring how emerging technologies — including GenAI and AI Agents — can unlock new ways of decision making.
