About the Role:

At Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury, we're passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. We're looking for a personable and proactive Group Reservations Agent to be the face of our hotel, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service from arrival through to departure.

Nestled within Russell Square Gardens in the heart of Bloomsbury, Holiday Inn is a vibrant 317-bedroom hotel operating under the globally recognised IHG brand. Following a recent refurbishment, the hotel offers a Starbucks coffee bar, the Media Lounge, the stylish Artful Critic Bar, 13 versatile meeting rooms and a spacious ballroom, making it a dynamic destination for both business and leisure guests.

What You’ll Have:

• Fantastic attention to detail
• The ability to work accurately at a fast pace – response times remain key
• A can-do attitude with creative solutions offered to potential opportunities
• Experience working as a group reservations agent
• Take full ownership of contracted group bookings from handover through to post-departure billing and reconciliation

What You’ll Do:

• Create, manage, and maintain group blocks in Opera CLOUD
• Deliver exceptional service to clients throughout the planning, in-house, and post-departure stages
• Prepare and present accurate Group Resumes
• Liaise closely with Sales, Revenue, Operations, Finance, and Commission teams
• Manage group-related correspondence in line with brand standards
• Monitor room inventory and contractual obligations
• Identify and communicate upselling opportunities
• Ensure accurate group billing, reporting, invoicing, commission processing, and payment reconciliation
• Prioritise workload effectively, managing multiple groups
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, guests, colleagues, and stakeholders
