Salary: £55000 per annum
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5/7 mostly Mon to Fri
Location: Nottingham, NG24 2NH
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the full site operation across the café, restaurant, hospitality, and vending services, delivering a high-quality customer experience for approximately 200 daily covers.
- Oversee front and back of house teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day service, operational efficiency, and consistent standards.
- Manage the performance, development, and rota planning of a team of 21 colleagues, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
- Drive commercial performance through effective management of labour, food costs, stock control, budgets, and sales opportunities.
- Build strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are exceeded and identifying opportunities to enhance the catering offer.
- Support the ongoing growth of the site by improving menus, service standards, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain the highest standards of health & safety, food safety, hygiene, and compliance across all service areas.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in managing café, restaurant, hospitality, or retail catering operations.
- A strong people leader with experience managing teams of 20+ colleagues.
- Commercially focused, with experience managing budgets, costs, and sales performance.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional food, service, and customer experiences.
- Confident building client relationships and driving continuous improvement.
- Organised, hands-on, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
