Waiter/Waitress – Birmingham Venue

We’re looking for an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our Birmingham venue.

We’re looking for someone who is confident working in a busy hospitality environment, takes pride in delivering excellent service and can hit the ground running from day one.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide friendly, attentive and professional service to all guests.
* Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
* Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
* Handle guest questions, concerns and complaints with professionalism and urgency.
* Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate and timely service.
* Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked service area.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all menu offerings, ingredients and promotions.
* Have a strong understanding of dietary requirements and allergens and communicate these clearly to the kitchen team.
* Follow all company procedures relating to food safety, licensing, health & safety and guest service.
* Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 1 year’s experience working as a Waiter/Waitress or Server in a hospitality environment.
* Previous experience in a busy restaurant, bar, entertainment or events environment is highly desirable.
* Confident taking food and drink orders and providing table service.
* A good understanding of food, drink and allergen procedures.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Able to remain calm, professional and organised during busy periods.
* Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
* Comfortable working evenings, weekends and during busy periods.
* A positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
* Someone who can work independently, use their initiative and take responsibility for their section.
* This is not an entry-level position, so previous hands-on waiting/service experience is essential.
