Tesco is seeking an experienced Feasibility Manager to assess and develop new store, as well are reviewing space opportunities across its property portfolio. Working with the Site Acquisition team, you will provide technical, commercial and operational input to support investment decisions and deliver practical, customer-focused solutions. This role requires strong design team leadership, commercial awareness, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
The Feasibility Manager plays a key role in delivering Tesco's development pipeline, ensuring opportunities are commercially viable, technically achievable and operationally effective.

- Lead projects through all stages of development up to the point that the project moves to the construction delivery phase, preparing project briefs and overseeing technical due diligence, feasibility assessments and planning applications for new stores, redevelopments and extension projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary design teams and consultants.
- Develop practical, cost-effective and deliverable store solutions alongside Format Planning.
- Identify, manage and report project risks, constraints and opportunities.
- Agreeing and understanding budgets and development cost estimates and controlling forecast and actuals against them.
- Build strong relationships with developers, landlords, consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Lead discussions on project requirements, technical standards and programmes.
- Support governance, business case approvals and project milestones.
- Manage OPEX expenditure, reporting on forecasts, actuals and variances.
- Drive continuous improvement across projects and processes.
- Degree in Property, Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in development, feasibility, construction, design, engineering or project management.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness with the ability to assess project viability and risk.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Self-starter who takes ownership, works independently and drives projects forward.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
- Retail, commercial or mixed-use development experience.
- Knowledge of planning, development appraisal and value engineering.
- Experience presenting recommendations and business cases to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with design and project management software.
