As a Facilities Specialist, you will lead facilities operations, ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace. You'll manage contractors, coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, and maintain Health & Safety compliance. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll also support space management and day-to-day office operations to ensure a seamless workplace experience.

What you’ll do
Being a Facilities Specialist is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success - which means you’ll be:
• Lead the day-to-day facilities operations for our St Albans HQ, ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment.
• Schedule and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and building systems remain operational.
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met, including reviewing RAMS, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting audits, risk assessments, and fire safety activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and workplace audits, identifying improvement opportunities and coordinating remedial actions to maintain high standards across the office.
• Manage contractor and supplier performance against agreed service levels, reviewing service reports, obtaining quotations, and supporting supplier onboarding.

Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
• Experience in Facilities Management, with a strong understanding of industry best practice.
• Proven experience managing contractors and service providers to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
• NEBOSH certification and/or IWFM membership would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Where you’ll work:
Onsite, St Albans Head Office. With flexibility to travel to our Loudwater office on occasion.
