We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Driver to support operations across West Midlands sites. This role involves safely transporting goods and supplies, maintaining vehicle standards, assisting with catering and food service activities, and delivering excellent customer service.
Please note: Successful candidates must pass Police Vetting before employment can commence.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with road traffic legislation and company policies.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or incidents.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
- Follow scheduled delivery routes and adapt routes when required due to traffic, weather, or operational needs.
- Load and unload goods, including food products and catering supplies.
- Support food preparation, hospitality services, and Jiffy Van food and beverage service as required.
- Receive, check, store, rotate, and monitor stock.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene, and company procedures.
- Complete accurate records, including temperature checks and vehicle inspections.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional image at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in training and development activities.
- Full, clean UK driving licence held for a minimum of 5 years.
- Ability to perform manual handling and lift/move goods safely.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of local roads and route planning.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented.
- Strong team player with a flexible approach to work.
- Previous experience in a driving, delivery, logistics, transport, catering, or customer service role.
- Experience working within regulated or secure environments.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role involves:

Police Vetting is mandatory for this position. Employment is subject to successful clearance.
