Job Description

What you’ll be doing As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will be providing a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them coming back. You will work in one of our stores, reporting to the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing • Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service. • Listening to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice. • Helping our customers to choose the correct eyewear and offer guidance to ensure our customers receive the best product suited to their needs. • Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure that the business trades legally. • Providing expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) • Passion for your own learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of the GOC requirement.

Dispensing Opticians - we are very excited to be recruiting for our fantastic practice at Boots Opticians in Glasgow, Fort Retail.

We are currently looking for a full time colleague to hit the ground running within a fun and great team that strive to put the customer at the heart of what they do.

We have 3 testing rooms in this brand new refitted practice filled with luxury brands, benefiting from brilliant equipment including a Phoropter and OCT to support us in our journey to provide the best service to our customers and patients.

You will join our amazing team of 22 which includes 4 resident Optometrist, 1 DO,1 CLO and store manager.

The practice is a Flagship store, close to motorway
and there is free street parking outside a boots store and retail park.
