Chef de Partie
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our contract catering team.
This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys producing fresh, quality food and working as part of a busy and supportive kitchen team.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your section and supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver excellent food and service.
Your duties will include:
Preparing and cooking food to a high standard
Taking responsibility for your designated section
Supporting breakfast, lunch and hospitality services
Following menus, recipes and portion control guidelines
Ensuring food is prepared and presented consistently
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
Checking and storing deliveries correctly
Monitoring stock and minimising food waste
Working closely with the wider kitchen team during service
Supporting junior chefs and kitchen assistants when required
Completing cleaning and close-down duties
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
Passionate about food and hospitality
Reliable, organised and hardworking
Able to work well under pressure
A good team player with a positive attitude
Committed to maintaining high standards
Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene
Flexible and willing to support the team when required
Previous contract catering experience is desirable, but restaurant, hotel or other professional kitchen experience will also be considered.
