Catering Supervisor

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on and customer-focused Catering Supervisor to join our team and support the smooth day-to-day operation of our staff restaurant and hospitality services.

As Catering Supervisor, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead the Front of House team, maintain high service standards and ensure every guest receives a warm, professional and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and support the Front of House team to deliver excellent customer service at every touchpoint.

  • Support the daily set-up and smooth running of restaurant and catering services.

  • Ensure food displays, counters, dining areas and service points are maintained to the highest standards.

  • Prepare display labels and accurately check allergen information against the in-house purchasing platform.

  • Confidently use Dynamify to support daily operations, including processing refunds, updating menu items and maintaining a smooth digital customer journey.

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with food safety, health and safety and company standards.

  • Support staff training, rota planning and effective team communication.

  • Help deliver seasonal food and engagement programmes, including Surprise & Delight, community events and collaborative initiatives with the wider team.

  • Support the hospitality function by ensuring meetings, events and client catering are delivered professionally and seamlessly.

  • Lead by example, remaining hands-on and supporting the team during busy service periods.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in a supervisory role within catering, hospitality, restaurants or cafés.

  • A natural leader with excellent people and communication skills.

  • Highly organised, reliable and attentive to detail.

  • Enthusiastic, positive and hands-on, with a genuine can-do attitude.

  • Passionate about great food, excellent service and creating memorable guest experiences.

  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.

  • A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

  • Committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and customer service.
