- Annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary

- Using category insight to define and implement a multi-channel category strategy (space, range, price, promos), crafting a market leading customer proposition that drives sales and market share.
- Manage the relationship with Dunnhumby, and Supplier category insight teams to deliver a comprehensive insight programme that aligns to our category strategy and PGRs.
- Defining a clear multi-channel and cross format plan that maxes the mix and achieves category objectives.
- Line management of supplier online implant whose objective is to support the online proposition by maximising trade and event plans.
- Ownership of category price index, working alongside price team to land category priorities on price, balancing competitiveness and profit delivery.
- Delivering customer-facing activity across all channels (range reviews, promotions and events) to the agreed critical path.
- Working across Supplier, Customer and Tesco Media teams to deliver compelling, customer-focussed activation in store and online.
- Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and handover protocols and successfully completing all training so that you have zero GSCOP breaches.
- Ensuring all supplier agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt, and leading a culture of compliance within my team.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Experience in category planning within food or non-food sectors, influencing category strategy and priorities in insight/analytical roles.
- Cross-functional collaboration across areas such as Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Brand, and Trade.
- Experience in online-focused or e-commerce roles.
- Background in commercial or customer-facing roles, including planning, shopper marketing, or working with Dunnhumby insights.
- Strong project and change management skills, with confidence in holding colleagues and peers accountable to critical paths.
- Proficiency in insight platforms such as Dunnhumby, Kantar, and Circana, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
