As a result of our continued growth and ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join our Head Office team in Plymouth.
About the Role:
The role will focus on developing and maintaining Python models, analysing large datasets and using statistical analysis to deliver actionable business insights. Strong Python, SQL and analytical skills are essential, alongside commercial awareness and a logical, problem-solving approach.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for maintaining existing Python models
- Building models in accordance with business requirements and objectives
- Running statistical analysis
- Conducting ongoing development and analytics on business
- Analysing large volumes of diverse data, providing actionable insights.
- Providing meaningful reports for Management.
- Communicating insights and results at different levels to diverse audiences within the company.
- Conducting investigations into identified areas of concern.
Person Specification:
- Experience coding in Python
- Experience with SQL
- Experience working with multiple and large unstructured datasets.
- Have clarity about how performance will be measured
- Proactive time management.
- A strong commercial awareness
- Self-starter, motivated and enthusiastic
- You must be a Team player.
- Demonstratable analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- You will be logical, with a problem-solving mindset.
