About us

Halfords is on a journey – building the future of motoring and cycling and looking for people who want to help shape what comes next. We’re a place for co-creators: people who want to make a real impact, take ownership and be part of something that’s still evolving.

That means real variety for our colleagues, along with the opportunity to learn, stretch and develop as the business moves forward. Whatever your role, you’ll be part of a team focused on delivering exceptional service – using your expertise to solve problems, guide customers and help keep the nation moving with confidence.

About the role

As a B2B Administrator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the Halfords for Business team, helping deliver successful client schemes, improve processes and ensure our clients and their customers receive an excellent experience.

Reporting to the B2B Client Admin Team Leader, you’ll work closely with the wider B2B teams to support client administration, coordinate scheme launches and encourage engagement and uptake across our Halfords for Business propositions. This is a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, improve administrative processes and support the delivery of key business targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and launch of client schemes, ensuring projects are delivered accurately and professionally.

  • Drive engagement and uptake across Halfords for Business schemes through effective client communications and promotional materials.

  • Manage client administration, including uploading benefit provider files, updating systems and supporting the resolution of finance queries.

  • Monitor the shared Client Admin inbox, prioritise workloads and support client-facing and Customer Service teams with enquiries.

  • Work with the wider teams to monitor service levels, test systems and identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.

About you

You’ll be an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a varied role, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and delivering excellent service.

You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, with the ability to manage several tasks efficiently.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and respond to client requests accurately.

  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring information is handled correctly and administrative processes run smoothly.

  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to suggest ideas and identify opportunities to improve processes.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

  • The ability to work collaboratively with different teams while taking ownership of your own workload.

Experience managing small B2B client relationships would be advantageous, as would an interest in supporting client launches, improving engagement and helping a business grow.

Reward & benefits

  • A fair and competitive salary evaluated against market data, annual £2000 discretionary bonus,, pension, life assurance, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and enhanced family leave.

  • Commitment and dedication to your ongoing personal and professional development. We help you to own and grow your potential so you can be at your best in your current role and support your future career aspirations.

  • We offer hybrid working in our Support Centre, with 2 days a week on site and an optional 3 days working from home.

  • Access to a wealth of employee discounts across the Halfords suite of products and services.

  • Wellbeing and inclusion are at the heart of our colleague experience. We offer resources and ongoing support to enhance your wellbeing at work, alongside active Colleague Networks supporting inclusion initiatives across Halfords.
