We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Gleneagles, Bowness. Our store is located in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, one of the Lake District’s most popular and picturesque destinations. Known for its stunning lakeside views, thriving tourism, and vibrant mix of independent shops and attractions, Bowness offers a lively and fast-paced retail environment. With high footfall from both locals and visitors, the store provides a dynamic setting where no two days are the same.

About the Role
We are looking for a well-rounded, commercially minded retail manager who is proactive and confident working on their own initiative. Fashion retail experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Ideally, you will have previous experience in management or supervisory roles within a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager — Assist with daily store operations, ensuring costs remain within targets.
- Drive Sales — Help maximise store profitability by promoting sales and identifying growth opportunities.
- Customer Service — Maintain exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
- Team Development — Coach, motivate, and support the team to achieve targets and lead by example.
- Deputise for the Manager — Step in when required to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
