Assistant Manager

A leading homeware retailer is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership of its Swansea store. Offering an extensive range of stylish and affordable products, this business has built a loyal customer base and is continuing to strengthen its presence across the UK. As a result, it is looking for an ambitious retail professional who can help drive operational excellence and commercial success.

Working as the number two in store, the successful candidate will partner closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the operation. Duties will include leading and developing the shop floor team, delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining high visual standards, and helping to achieve key sales and performance targets.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Department Manager with a background in homeware, furniture, general merchandise, or high-volume retail. The ideal candidate will be confident analysing KPIs, coaching colleagues to perform at their best and creating a positive and productive working environment. Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and a hands-on leadership style are all essential. The salary is paying up to £38,000
