What's On in January

10th – 12th January 2015

London Collections: Men AW15, The Hospital Club, London

London kick starts the menswear calendar with a biannual showcase of British brands and businesses embedded in a cultural programme. London Collections: Men emphasises both the creative and commercial importance of Britain’s brands and emerging talent as well as the rich cultural landscape that contributes to the inspiration and success of this sector. All events on the schedule are designed to showcase the breadth of British fashion talent, from the world’s most innovative emerging talents to global menswear brands and Savile Row tailors.

SRC Parliamentary Reception, Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh

The Scottish Retail Consortium’s (SRC) Annual Parliamentary Reception is to be at Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.

The theme of the 2015 reception will be A Better Retailing Climate and is being supported by Zero Waste Scotland. The SRC will be launching a publication that sets out the collective environmental ambitions of a group of leading retailers and highlighting the sector’s progress, achievements and challenges in continuing to reduce their environmental impact whilst moving away from a largely linear economy towards a more circular economy.

Future Leaders Lecture 2015, Euston Square, London

Growing and developing great people into future retail leaders is always a hot topic and the BRC’s third Future Leaders Lecture is a key date to discuss this in 2015.

Nick Robertson, CEO of ASOS will be providing the keynote speech this year, revealing an insight into his professional journey to encourage a new generation as well as inspiring senior members to nurture fresh talent.

Retail Trust Celebration 2015, Old Billingsgate, London

Retail Trust Celebration 2015, formerly known as the Retail Trust London Ball, is billed as a “must attend” in the retail calendar. This year, it’s 62nd, promises to be “even bigger and better” according to the retail charity.
