The June edition of the Retail Appointment magazine is now online!

June New Issue-Large

Did you know that in Iceland, folklore says that if you bathe naked in the morning dew on the morning of June 24th, it will keep ageing at bay. We're not sure if that is true, but what we do know is that if you work in the retail industry, whether as a store or area manager or in head office as a buyer or merchandiser, The Retail Appointment is the best way to breathe sparkling new life into your career.

In this issue of our industry-leading magazine, we let you know how you can recover when you think you've seriously messed up in a meeting as well as how to successfully handle your next performance review. Meanwhile, if you still think that team building is all about corporate buzz words and drawn out discussion sessions, you might want to read our piece on action painting training that aims to put the fun back into team building.

In our jobs section, we have some amazing opportunities from the Co-operative Group, who are looking for store managers and team leaders across London and the South East.

Meanwhile, Mothercare are looking for retail store supervisors in London and Coral are seeking customer service staff in Surrey. If you've caught World Cup fever and have developed a slight football obsession then check out Chelsea Football Club, who are looking for a Merchandise Licensing Assistant at their iconic home ground Stamford Bridge.

If it¹s creativity and inspiration you¹re seeking then you should also check out BHS who are looking for regional and instore visual managers.

This month has already been really busy for us, having just returned to the office after a big promotional push in London and the South East which saw our teams hit the road to hand deliver 7,000 copies of our magazine straight into stores. We also gave out our new re-usable coffee mugs which went down a storm! You can take a look at what we got up to on our Facebook or Twitter pages. And remember that if you haven't signed up for our CV bank feature you could be missing out on loads of great jobs being delivered straight to you every day.

That's it from us for now, make sure you take a look at our latest edition here if you haven¹t already.
